It's been out for a little bit and it works well for me. There's already a thread on it.

After using maximus vi hero and now with maximus vii hero, i learned that if the changelog is "Improve system stability" means that it destroys system stability. I got multiple bsod's all the time with the same oc settings on 2401. So I revert back to 2304 and everything is fine.

Hello

This is why overclock settings are not retained when flashing to a different UEFI version. It is common that the same settings will not transfer between different UEFI version.

Every Bio's after 11.04 has me crashing with BSOD's with an overclocked system and I'm using a K series chip. Took me about 3 flashes for 24.01 to actually manage to get "Stable" Not to sure why it took me multiple writes of the bio's to actually get it stable however I did learn to copy the profile to a flash drive.

You are lucky! I flashed to 2401 and now I can't flash back or revert to a previous version. If I try to revert to an earlier version it doesn't recognize the BIOS file as a valid BIOS file. Right from the start it has been a nightmare. It doesn't load the keyboard and mouse, so i have to switch them around to find a USB outlet that will recognize it. I have BSOD randomly now in windows with different exceptions. None of this was happening to me with 2012. What I find particularly annoying is that it will allow me to flash with 2401 over and over again, but it won't let me flash a previous version to get rid of this nightmare. My solution, send the board back to Amazon for a refund and buy a different motherboard...

I'm not oc'd, however I haven't run into any issues yet with the 2401. With that said I was wrong about another thread on this bios as I was thinking about the previous version.

Updated to 2304 yesterday - So far it has been fine - No issue noted with my overclock ie still just as stable as previous bios.

No problems so far with BIOS 2401
EDIT: After several reboots the same problem! Going to flash the 2201 back...
