Long Post Beep

I just finished my build today (system in sig). I came from a maximus 6 gene and when I hit the power button it was about 3 seconds then the beep from speaker then load windows. On the Rampage it like 6 sec then beep. No big deal if this is normal or not just wondering if there is more going on cause this board has more features. Still rocking the 0706 as I havent been able to see a reason to update the bios. Build went together great. XMP emabled no issues at all.

one beep is normal. Also there seems to be about a 5-6 second wait yes, the x99 has a more intensive stress test because of ddr4 ram being more finicky and more features I believe. As long as you are not having problems booting you should be A-ok...;)

thank you for the response. I am very impressed so far with the way the board is performing. I was thinking that it has 2 bios in it thats why. Any reason for me to update the bios to a newer one as I have no issues on this bios yet?
