What resolution do you game at?

For hardcore gaming you will want the best you can get as in a gtx 980.

I see the kingpin is the only 980 able to convert to a single slot after installing a waterblock. But who has a waterblock for it? EK says they have no plans on making one for it.

If your budget permits it, grab the Strix GTX 980. It's an amazing and silent GPU. Perfect for gaming I would say.
