1. Make sure you have the latest Intel and Nvidia drivers.
2. Right click desktop > Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Global Settings > Preffered Graphics Processor > Select High Performance Nvidia Processor

More info on Nvidia Optimus: http://www.nvidia.com/object/optimus_technology.html

If you want to set it so only on one program go to program settings and select the program and the NVIDIA GPU.

By default, NVIDIA card will only activate when you open a DirectX game.

Are you sure u have ain intel graphics on your G751, to my knowledge all G751 come with a dedicated Nvidia GPU.

It is impossible for a G751 to be using the intel card, as it doesn't have optimus. The 900 series card you have is the default and always on...

G751JM does have Optimus, and it has an 860m and not 900 series. What Jupiter said. Also you can launch programs with Nvidia GPU by right clicking on the .exe run with graphics processor-High performance NVIDIA processor.
