2TB Samsung Spinpoint M9T not working in second hard drive bay/slot G73JW-XA1

I've got two M9T 2TB drives, they will show up in the bios and Windows in the first slot, but not the second. So I can only use one right now.

Laptop is ASUS G73JW-XA1

It shows up in the second lot for GParted (Linux boot disc/partition manager). Bios is up to date, etc.
