    Dead pixel ?

    Hi guys,

    got a new g751. First of all Im happy with it, but theres one problem. In the upper left corner there seems to be a dead pixel but its a bit weird. When i change the view in a certain angle the "dead pixel " disappears so it cant be a dead pixel !? The first thought was, that it is dust but then its not ON the screen ( tried to remove the "dust" ) so it must be "behind" the screen. The pixel itself seems a bit darker than the others of the screen.

    Has anyone a idea what this is, or what to do ?

    Sorry cant explain the problem better...

    Yeah there are some portable stuck pixel exerciser programs that could work, I have one kicking around somewhere. That or make a batch file, just copy paste this into notepad and save as whatever.bat.

    It will work just the same but if you have photosensitive epilepsy it's not for you (neither will those other programs be)

    @echo off

    echo %random% %random% %random% %random% %random% %random% %random% %random% %random% %random% %random% %random% %random% %random%

    If the drivers are causing this (Which is a high chance) I advise you to completely remove them using Display Driver Uninstaller and delete both Intel and Nvidia GPU's from your system and then install the latest version from the official sites.

    It's possible there may be dust or dirt trapped inside. If so, the only way to correct that is taking it apart. You could try seeing if the vendor will exchange it for you.
