Green power lights

Hi i have just got 2 x R290 X matrix platinum Cards and i have a couple of questions the power ligts wher you connect the power are green (which is normal) but they do not go off not even when the computer is turned off is this normal?
allso what sort of temps should i be getting BF4 crashes after 30 mins temp is about 75c

No idea about the power LEDs since I don't have that card myself, would guess they are maybe running on +5V standby power like some mainboard power indicators do.

As for the temps 75°C sound pretty good actually for 290X in Crossfire, in line with how hot the matrix cards usually get and way below the reference design 290 series.

Are you running BF4 on Mantle by any chance or does the setup crash on other games as well? Last I heard they had some bugs in BF4 on Crossfire + Mantle but apparently they were fixed a few months back (knowing EA they probably built in a few new ones in the meantime ).

I think it is stable I deleted the mantle cache and it seems to have done the trick

Lights stay on so if your PC crashes/fails then you can check immediately if a cable came lose etc
75C is good for CF. Do you have a side case fan?

thanks for the answer marshall it seems to be running ok temps don't get much over the 75 I maybe will make a profile for BF and other games as icould see that the fans never went over 40 % speed..
