Hi everyone... I am encountering a problem with my R3E.

Here is my specs:
Asus R3E with Bios 1601 Mod also tried 1502
i7 960
24GB Ram 3x8GB Corsair 1600Mhz (I also have 2GB 1600Mhz Ram)
HD5450 Graphics Card
Toshiba 120GB SSD
Corsair RM850

The problem is...whenever I power on the PC using the switch of the PSU it will post and will run the computer properly.
LEDs on the CPU, DRAM, VGA, Boot Device LED is lighting in order before posting.
but when I restart the PC, it will not post anymore. red light on the CPU is not continuing to the DRAM, VGA and Boot Device.
so I will switch of the PSU again and switch it on just to properly boot the computer.

I connected all cables for the R3E. RAM doesn't have any problem. I can even OC using the crazy i7 (I'm still new to OCing)
I can even benchmark only the posting after restart is my problem.

Use a multimeter to test the battery

you mean the cmos battery? what should be the result from the multimeter if it's working properly?

i tested the cmos battery and it's still fine. but i will buy new one later. i think it's a cold boot issue as i have read in other forums.

i still encounter the issue X_x whenever i use the pc for an hour or more and restart it, it will post again.

Now i have CPU Init problem.

Asus Rampage III Exreme not posting after restart
