g751 dosent see 2 msata 500gb drives connected to sata adapter

recently purchased 2 840 evo msata 500gb drives and a startech dual msata to sata adapter but g751jt only sees one drive at a time
in bios, not both but it does see both drives when connected seperatley so the drives are good. doesn't matter which msata port their connected to either, so the hardware is good the adapter i mean so why wont it see them both together? any help and have it set up as jbod not raid tried raid only saw 1 drive also

What setting is on your jumper pins?

Have you tried the adapter on another system to check if it's working correctly?
