    Headphones/Speakers

I wanted to add this information as well due to the recent inquiry posted above regarding speakers.

The sound crackling/popping will affect headphones/speakers as well...it is not only affecting the laptop speakers.

    Same thing on GL753

Don't you worry, GL753 has the same crackling sound on system speakers AND headphones. Here we are, waiting for drivers.

    Technically Speaking...

Technically Speaking, this is still an ASUS problem to have resolved by investigating the issues and finding out what other possible hardware or driver conflicts and or Windows conflicts with the Realtek driver is causing the issues...but also in communicating with Realtek and solving the issue together.

So, if say Realtek was the one who built or manufactured the system, it is a good bet they would have found and resolved the issue...but such as they are not, well, it is up to ASUS to get fixed and resolved.

ASUS should be the one contacting Realtek and informing them of the issues.

(ASUS, get on this, as we demand the issues be corrected and resolved!)

    Just Saying!

Just to add to the mix.

I have the G751-JT and I also experience the sound "clicks" which seem synonymous with power management, as the speakers seem to be going on/off.

Sound issue does not affect headphones/speakers via 3.5mm jack or USB port.

It's a bug in Realtek vs Intel hw. You can ALMOST solve the problem uninstalling Intel RST. This reduces clicks by 90%

Still not sure if it's just placebo (need at least 1 month of testing)... but since the other day when I upgraded to Windows 10 x64 15063.13 (Creators Update) all annoying clicks seem gone.
