ROG Front Base firmware - where to download?

Hi guys, I have the Maximus VII Hero, just upped the BIOS to 2401 (had 2201) before. I've updated the Front's drivers to v1.01.12 - I'm running Win 8.1 N pro, the front panel shows everything it is supposed to, but I cannot enter the edit more at all. I don't have the v40 sticker and I cannot find the firmware anywhere (it is definitely gone from the support page). All I was able to locate is the "0402FW and tool.zip" from Raja but I'm not sure that is the correct stuff I need?!

I've read and followed the http://rog.asus.com/317732014/maximus-motherboards/front-base-upgrade-guide-for-maximus-vii-motherbo... to the letter but, of course, I get stuck at step #6 as I just cannot find those two files (actually their latest versions).

Please help, the front panel, while very nice looking, it useless to me if I cannot control the fans (which is the reason I bought it).

Thank you, I'm looking at it, but it still doesn't tell me from where I can download the firmware (v44 I guess is the latest now). I've checked the support page but I see only drivers there, no firmware.

Edit: Nevermind, I see it is unpacked in the FBFW directory in the drivers folder ... 😉
