Lol, i was just about to flash the latest bios (I have 2304 on my VII hero). I have the 2401 bios downloaded a few days ago, just did not had the time to update until now...
I guess I'll wait a little more until this mess is sorted out. Strange that they removed all after the 2012 one...
There is something wrong in all these bios versions, some voltage values are multiplied by 8 (turbo boost power max and turbo boost short power max, I had to input 11 to get to the desired 88W) I can't remember for sure if 2012 had this issue, I upgraded the bios before testing.
There might be other bugs in them, I just hope they get a decent stable and bug-free out asap.

Yes it's true, I just checked for the maximus vii hero and 2012 is the highest version showing right now. I'm on 2401 so I hope that there isn't a problem and if there is that a corrected bios will appear soon.

You need to use the bios flashback feature to downgrade to 2012.

So can we get any, and i mean ANY, information from Asus why the newest bios are deleted?

Im on 2401 Hero and if the new bios have some kind of serious problems shouldnt Asus tell us so we can flash an older one until a correct version release?

Retracting bios releases arent like software. Software if they are screwup, we can mostly get BSOD.. Bios on the other hand, can completely fry our PCs.

I'm on 2304 for at least a month and didn't noticed any problems whatsoever but of course that doesn't mean anything maybe i didn't trigger the problem (if there are any).
Would love to hear something official from Asus on why they deleted the newer Bios updates.

Well I regret updating to 2401 on my hero 7, but was too lazy to flash the older one. And now i double regret it knowing that even Asus think low about this version

I just submitted a question to Asus support on why they removed the newer Bios versions. When they respond i'l let everyone know what they answered.
