Hi,

I have a asus rampage 5 x99 Board with 5820k and 32gb ddr4 an gtx970 with soundblaster ZxR.

1.when i buy a Samsung SM951 with pcie3.0x4 in this config will it work?

I read in manuel The Last Slot x8_2 is deactivate when Using 5820k and this Slot shares bandwith with The m.2 Sockel.

Hmm 16x+4x+1x is under 28 so it might ne worked?

2.the m.2 Sockel and so The ssd is behind The graphic Card Sonate there and Heat Problems when this ssd is so near so The graphic Card?

3.last Hardcore Question is...

Will it work?

So... 16+8+1+4 = 29.... So above 28 ? Dont work!?

Maybe Both cards will work with 8x lanes?

So.. 8+8+4+1 = 21... Might ne worked?

1. Yes

2. Can't say since I don't own the XP941. If you're worry about heat, put a fan to cool the XP941 off.

Sorry The name from The SSD is Samsung SM951 SSD, PCIe M.2 Typ 2280-D3-M (NGFF), bulk - 512 GB

And The 3.question... Should hmm do You think 8x8x for The graphic Cards or 16x8x?

By default, the GPUs will run at x16/x8. But dropping in your sound card into another PCIe x8 lane should drop the GPUs to x8/x8.

And what is with the m2 Controller ? Will it work an Full Speed? And i put the soundcard in the pcie_x4_1 Slot soooo Hmm... Will it drop from 16/8?
