ASUS Graphics Cards STRIX-GTX980-DC2OC-4GD5 and SLI
Greetings,
I just installed my 2nd 980 and am not sure if it is working or working correctly.
I have video but I noticed the power light on my original 980 isn't illuminated, but the 2nd one is.
I still have my DVI and HDMI connected to the 1st 980.
I went into the NVIDIA Control Panel and can not find any mention of SLI.
I have the SLI connector (for 2 GPUs) connected nearest the front (where monitors are plugged in).
Thanks in advance.

Are you referring to the LEDS on top of the PCIe connectors?

yes, leds should be active for both cards. maybe you should re-seat the cards.
if there is no sli and physx configuration in nvidia control panel, there must be something wrong with your setup. visually you can enable visual sli indicator and then play some games. it's in 3d settings > enable the option in nvidia control panel.
