Help on my g75vw, cannot turn off my touchpad after switching to Win8.1 Pro

I recently installed a SSD and changed my OS from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1 Pro and now I cannot turn off my touchpad, I downloaded most of the drivers from the utilities section of asus for G75 and still now work. Any help? Thanks! I really appreciate it!

Hmm, mine automatically disconnects if a mouse is present. Have you install the ATK package of Asus driver? Also have you installed the software for you mouse with a Win 8.1 Ver? Asus support Downloads

Yes I have installed ATK package already and still doesn't change a thing. Smh, I'm still looking for some solutions online.

Im on windows 7 and sometimes have this issue. I use a Logitech usb wireless mouse. I have solved this by opening up the mouse settings and it popups up saying my touchpad has been disabled

Yes, I'm using Logitech Bluetooth mouse if the mouse is turned on I get the Dialog message that touchpad has been disconnect because a mouse is present.

what is the driver version you're using for ATK and TouchPad ?

For me the latest available on Asus Support Downloads they haven't changed much in the last few months

Bluetooth drivers are Microsoft Ver 6.3.9600.17673

The same action happen when I was using my Asus Gaming Mouse when it was connected USB the message would come up that the track pad was disconnect as a mouse was present.

It sounds to me like you need to refresh your drivers to solve your problem?
