ASUS ROG RAIDR Express Questions...

I have been enjoying my RAIDR Express for a few weeks now, and I've noticed a few quirks that I would like to inquire to the community about.

1. Both in Windows 8.1 Pro 64-Bit and Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit, the operating system detects my RAIDR Express, which acts as my boot drive, as removable media in the list of ejectable drives. Is there any way to change that, or is that just a quirk of doing a UEFI install?

2. After performing a clean install of either OS, the Optimize tool doesn't detect the drive as an SSD unless you run winsat formal from an elevated command prompt. Is there any possible change to be made in UEFI to fix this, or is it a quirk of the RAIDR Express?

Thank you for your time and your help.

Hello

1. Windows will at times identify some drive as removable even when they are not. Windows will not allow the boot drive to be ejected so I would just ignore this.

2. This is quite common. I always run WinSAT with the formal switch once the Windows install is complete.
