250 Ohm Headphones and onboard sound solution?

Hey there!

Actually used a Xonar Phoebus to power my 250 ohm headphones. Will there be any positiv / negative difference between the Phoebus or the onboard solution? If not I would sell them and use that money for something more usefull.

Try it for yourself and see. Make sure you connect your headphones to the front panel connectors though.

Yes, Sonic SenseAmp only works with the front panel audio connector.

I can tell you now it can't even power 150ohm sennheiser cans, it is total and utter pants, Stick with the add on solution.
