Sonic Studio crashes with Windows10 crashes.

Hi,

my issue: I use Windows10. The Asus Sound tool Supreme FX crashes when I click on the tab "Sonic Studio". I tried all the versions
and even the original 2.75 from realtek. Nothing helps. In the previous versions of Windows 10 (before 9926) it helped to set up
a fresh copy from the supplied ISO files. But since 10049 Microsoft seems not to upload ISO files. It just runs over the update ring.

So, maybe here is someone testing Windows10 as well and has this issue. I already reported the issue in to the microsoft feedback
tool and into the TechNet Forum: https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/819f59e4-7cab-46ad-96e1-31acacb19213/sonic-studio-...

Use drivers from WU others not compatible its pretty hard to find win 10 supported ones i belive 7458 was also comatible pack for 10 or its was 7454 if sonic studio crashes its can happen on win 7 - 8 also because ppl mess with sound drivers too mutch and they procedure wrong on install uninstall using drivers sweepers etc witch screw up

I not saw yet sonic studio for windows 10 drivers you got sonic studio because you installed asus windows 8.1 sound drivers before you got drivers from wu or installed asus drivers over top wu one

Try this on video http://youtu.be/uNmQTQybDL8 might help you.

Thx for answer! So I tried this several times now exactly the video shows but I still can't use the sonic studio. Do you know more about the video, previously installed version of asus driver and did he install as admin, I can't really see. Thx so far.

previous was from windows update but worth to try other win 10 versions from SD but all what i did was that i installed sonic radar from asus drivers its also work fine to me in win 10 if you cant use sonic studio its crashes then better reinstall os if you do this method since default its should be work I not saw 6 months any sonic studio crashes. I basicly try all new drivers what shows up on SD.

There is one optional file package on asus drivers soundmaxx package try to install it as previous version of windows I not sure if its optional sonic studio.

Once you get drivers working dont touch it

Thx a lot, it works for me now. The hint, to take only the Sonic Radar from the Asus Realtek Package. After installing the Realtek 7464 from SD, I just restarted and executed the SetupSonicPlugins_R2.exe within the Realtek_Audio_Win7-8-8-1_V6017450.zip from Asus Driversupport. It really worked. Don't want to annoy you but did you try higher Realtek Versions 7464 or is this the final fix to Sound Sonic Studio crashes? 🙂

Nice, we get this way smarter. Yeah sonic radar enables in audio cpanel sonic studio. For sure now. i not tryd higher then 7464. Its last supported windows 10TP driver.

But yeah if you got it working and not crash its perfect.

Sometimes it still crashes but I can reopen it over the classic control panel via the Realtek HD Audio Manger icon. But I'm wondering why I'm the only one with that issue. Complete fail! 🙂 I thought everyone with a ROG Board trying Windows10 got this. I'm curious if the driver is messed up again when W10 updates to 10051. Cheers and thx again!

To me is no crashes at all might i have bit different hardware
all what i have http://www.passmark.com/baselines/V8/display.php?id=39214124028 videocard is MSI GTX970 GAMING 4G

Worth to try 7485 non WHQL from realtek ftp http://tinyurl.com/oafgnsq supports win 10 package is PG423 but asus use PG420 but most of times its include all packages.
Tested myself this 7485 works. You not have to reinstall sonic radar plugin just do like in video uninstall, install.

It worked, even with 7487 with dolby. Got the Gigabyte GTX970 G1 . Do you think the graphics driver crashed the sonic studio? I'm still on Build 10049.
