Base cooler necessary?

Do you consider necessary or recommend using a base with fans for the laptop when gaming?

i have a cooling pad by coolermaster wich has 3 fans but i found no difference in tempertures with or without those 3 fans so i just use the pad without the fans to raise the laptop a bit

so for me, no its not needed

If you're using Asus Rog G7XX series the coolers are useless.
Why?
Because the intake is beneath your monitor and I do not think there are coolers that cool like that.

Coolers are meant for cheap laptops where air intake is poor.

Gaming laptops don't need cooling as they have their own cooling build inside of them.
