    EK monoblock for X99 Deluxe

    Hello luk

Are we the owner of the X99 Deluxe board, might be able to see in the near future a "monoblock" for the Deluxe. It look very sick in the Rampage, I could see it in the Deluxe how sexy it could look. Help us and help to spread the wealth of those that own a Deluxe so we don't see us buying another board just to get this sick monoblock.

We don't have any current plans to make one. I will ask the guys above me but I would be surprised to see a monoblock released for the Deluxe.

Thanks Luc, I will surprise my self as well. It all comes to if ASUS ask EK to make it to see if we can have better sales on a certain boards, but its all good I guess my best bet its to buy a RAMPAGE so I can keep the cash following. thanks guy.

The EKWB Monoblock for the Rampage V Extreme is just freaking awesome.

I do wish that the heatpipe conecting the I/O cover and the VRM/MOSFET heatsink could be easily detached (without having to break it) so I could put the I/O cover back on--it would then tie the looks of the whole board together.

Yes block is excellent, but R5E is not much expensive than Deluxe version.
If someone plan to build some watercooling loops it's more logic from all brands from all series models directly to look only ROG.
That's first what EKWB launch because biggest number of people worldwide ask ROG.
When they launch Predator they looked first motherboards with holes through PCB completely, later adopted mounting mechanism with others.
For Deluxe it's little harder to find stuff. Only CPU block... VRM or chipset block little harder to find.
I'm proud when I see some nice waterblock for motherboard as mine or first EKWB Predator 360 Installation Guide on my motherboard.

I am REALLY happy with the R5E EK Monoblock--I am still building, but I love the way it looks!

    Wait, wut^

BTW, The EK site now has the X99 Deluxe's Monoblock section listed as "Coming Soon". Anyone know an ETA? I just ordered my 5930k and I need to pull the trigger on a motherboard within the next week max. I cant justify the cost of the R5E. Even the x99 Deluxe is pushing it. But I can justify that cost. Watch, I'll get the R5E and the block and as soon as I get it installed the monoblocks for all the other cheaper motherboards will come out.

BTW #2 - that monoblock does look great. To date Ive never had to permanently break anything when installing EK blocks. I have the full cover and cpu block on my Crosshair V F-Z. Do the instructions say that you have to break the heat pipe? That means reselling the board will be very difficult.

No. There is no need to break anything.

You remove the screws and the VRM heatsink will come right off.
