permanent solution for the number lock

has anyone found a permanent solution for the number lock problem. while yes, i am able to press the fn key and the home key to
toggle the number lock, it is a pain in the ass to have to do this EVERY time i login. is there not some way to put it in the registry to
start the computer with number on defaulted "ON"?????? any help is appreciated.

There's always a BIOS setting for NumLock = on or off.

There's a NumLock boot status toggle in MSCONFIG or SYSCONFIG or even somewhere in GPEDIT (depending on Windows version).

You can force NumLock through a registry hack.
