98c is thermal throttling limit for your laptop. You should not use it under such temps because it's to hot!

I'm repasting all my laptops with mx4 thermal paste. As i'm using asus laptops for years I don't like thermal paste they are using. I got laptops from the box with almost dried thermal paste and after a year of usage it becomes fully dry and hard like a concrete))) sometimes i even have to heat up radiators because they don't want to came of like glued to the chip. Also I had a asus k56cm laptop which overheats from box an when I took it apart I found that isolation on chip was askew between chip and radiator so I relocated it on it's place as it should be.

If you have warranty you should send it back because it's manufacturers fault that laptop is overheating and they should fix it.
