Hi everyone!

This is my first post here. I bought few days ago a new ROG G751JT-CH71 laptop and I receive it today!
I want to upgrade the DDR3 memory and I want to make sure if this DDR3L Memory works good with my laptop.

Please follow this link:

Laptop Link:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NVV2B98/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Specs of these memorys:
- 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 SODIMM
- 1600MHz
- 9-9-9-24 latency
- Voltage: 1.35V
- Pin Out: 204 Pin

Thank you in advance for your help guys,

emilioBOW, the best thing to do is to look at the sticky threads at the top of the forum, they usually have the major common topics covered, read this thread:

1.35V memory required in G751/G771/G551s (same as G750)
https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?53752-1-35V-memory-required-in-G751-G771-G551s-(same-as-G7...

And, this sticky thread at the top of the G750 forum, also applies to the G751:

Upgraders: 1.35V memory is required!
http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?33744-Upgraders-1-35V-memory-is-required!&p=272284&viewfull...

Those threads are kinda long now, you might want to jump to the end and read backwards after checking out the first few posts.

Generally the answer is, don't get 3rd party memory, get the same memory you already have installed. Just more of it.

If the original memory is 8GB, it's easy just use CPU-Z and read the info in the SPD tab to get the make / model part number.

For example, the memory in my G750JH:
49321

Then use google / ebay search and find a good price on the same - used is just as good as new for the most part - already burned in and tested 🙂

If you have 4GB memory, you can add 8GB SODIMM's of the same make/model line - google for the part number you have then find the pdf/datasheet with the family info, and use the part number for the 8GB SODIMM to add new memory.

If you want to replace all the memory with faster memory, like 2133mhz SODIMM's G.skill is good / tested, as is Kingston - read the stickies 🙂

Have fun 🙂

PS: Corsair has a lot of SODIMM's built as SPD 1.5v memory that runs as 1.5v memory in the G750/G751, but says it is tested as working at 1.35v - but you can't force the G750/G751 to override the SPD in the BIOS as there are no memory settings available in the BIOS,

When you read the stickies you will find people that have bought this, and other similar models/packages, only to find the memory runs at 1.5v, not 1.35v, which is bad for the CPU in the Haswell G750/G751, so don't get it 🙂

Note the tricky listing of SPD: 1.5 and Tested at: 1.35v buried in the technical specifications, while at the top of the datasheet it claims it is 1.35v memory - which is what the retailers see and mistakenly list it as.
