Hey guys I need some help setting my XMP profiles on my new build.

My first problem is that I am not sure there is a profile for my RAM (G. Skill Trident X Series 2x8GB 2133 MHz). I bought my CPU, MOBO, and RAM as a bundle from Newegg so I assumed it would work, but maybe that is where I went wrong. Currently my RAM is running at only 1333 MHz.

It is my understanding that XMP profiles are fairly easy to set, but I can't seem to find it anywhere in the BIOS. Can someone navigate me through the BIOS to the correct page?

Finally, it is my understanding that the AI suite will automatically do this, but is it possible to only apply this to the RAM only? Maybe it isn't a big deal, but I wasn't planning on overclocking my CPU until I needed the additional power down the road.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts or suggestions.

Welcome to the ROG forum !

The trident x kit does support X.M.P.

Go into the bios on the extreme tweaker tab and set the ai overclock tuner to X.M.P. F10 and Enter to save and exit and you're all set.

Or you can set your ram manually.
