I'm looking for a 1440p or more, 23" or more, IPS external monitor because my 1080p TN monitor is already showing it's age.

I'm using my G751JY for, mainly, heavy video editing so I guess high refresh rates and g-sync/freesync wouldn't make a difference for me. I also game with it of course, but i'm not very demanding in terms of settings since i'm mostly a console gamer. So what would you guys recommend me for a good video editing monitor?

I'm guessing IPS would be great, for the better color balance and accuracy. So with all this is mind, i'm considering two monitors: Asus PB278Q(QR) and Asus MG279Q. The first one just based on my needs, and the former for lastability I guess. If there's other monitors around that I should alos consider, i'd appreciate some of your recommendations.
