Not necessarily a thought on fixing the problem, but a possibility of a redo.. Do you still have the original drive with windows installed? Maybe pop that back in and see if it's still causing that issue. If not, maybe try cloning the original drive to the new one? I did that when I moved from a sketchy 128GB ssd in my desktop, to a 256GB, and it worked without a hitch.. Maybe whatever is missing for you might be solved by that?
