Edit - I hope this "new version" of G751 wont be the only one supporting G-Sync and that our current panel will eventually support it as well, because it would be freaking sad, if it does not.

"An Asus representative told us that G751 notebooks with the new technology will start shipping this month."

    - nice joke . . .

BIOS 207 was for "G-sync support" and Asus changed the description to "EC Firmware" around the latest nvidia driver release date (352.86).
I think Asus is ready to launch a new BIOS that support G-sync on our G751 but they putted too early the description because Nvidia waited until yesterday to make the announcement. Now that G-sync is official on laptops, I think Asus will release a new BIOS soon.

I think we're going to get the shaft on this one. Just saw the news about the "new" G751JY and JT... Which seems like the exact same thing we have right now. It would be extremely annoying if we were skipped with this update, especially in the position we are hardware wise (75Hz IPS) and software wise (leaked driver that proved we can have mobile G-SYNC).

Really hoping I won't be dissapointed by Asus with this. If they pull a classic rebrand I'm selling my G751JY and going for something else.

Sorry it took so long to reply Josh, I had to sleep...
I have the latest BIOS and still no dice. I am betting ASUS will have to release a new BIOS to enable G-Sync. Here is hoping they do so, and soon.
    Thanks for the assistance all!

I think the missing G-Sync option with this driver (I personally did not try it yet, because my previous driver is finally working good and I dont want to try risking going back to microstuttering) is a bug.

    1) some sites claim even though there is no gsync module in the laptop, G-Sync will be enabled with a vBIOS update. ASUS Live Update does not seem to find updated vBIOS so far.

    2) Does even ASUS know that G-Sync is NOT working? Check this official picture out:

I am not a native English speaker, so maybe my English is a bit off, but isn't ASUS saying with this picture that G-Sync is NOW working with G751 laptops ?! In now I mean as of right now and not that G-Sync will only come in a future update ...
