I'm not sure what you mean by win10 bios. I presume you are talking about the later bios versions up to 4901. The trouble is, as far as my personal experience goes, I had to make adjustments to settings as I moved up versions of the bios to maintain my stable max overclock. Personally, I have never had an issue flashing the bios, but having a spare bios chip might be a good idea.

    Congratulations on the successful upgrade.

the mobo is equipped with 2 bios chips. If one bricks, use the second.

I installed windows 10 Pro on my RIVE and my computer flys!! soooooooooooo much smoother than windows 7/8, Especially in games.
Same goes for my other 2 computers, I upgraded them to windows 10 and they are blazing fast now too.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND trying windows 10 to those who haven't already.

I also upgrade to win10 from win 8.1. Everything works fine but i noticed that all browsers are very slow. I did after the upgrade a totally new installation (fresh installation). The problem with the browsers stayed. So i don't know what the problem is. In win8.1 everything works out fine.

win 10 sucks especially slow boot and shutdown that i experienced. win 8.1 is blazing fast boot, shutdown. also find win8.1 more responsive than 10.
