Dear ROG community,

I'm quiet new to this forum and wanted to ask some question, hoping that somebody can maybe help me out / share his experience with me.

I recently bought a Asus G73sw on ebay (GTX460m, 3D Screen) and could get a cheap GTX 680m from a friend. Do somebody know, if an upgrade with that gpu would be possible? I already read some threats about upgrading the gpu, but not with this card. Can someone maybe explain me what I exactly need for the upgrade?

- Correct vbios (Asus?)
- Asus G73JH GPU heatsink (which needs to be modified)
- a Dell GPU backplate from a 6900m (srew holes)
- thermal paste & some stuff to clean off the old paste
- a lot of patience
- precise work

Would that work?
