Smooth 4K Video Playback is it possible? What's the best player to use?

I just got my G501 with 16 Gb ram and 960M GPU and I've spent 2 days going through and testing different video players including VLC, Wonderland and PowerDVD 15. So far PowerDVD works the best but i'm still noticing some jittering and would like to ask ASUS to give an OFFICIAL recommendation for which player and settings to use to fully utilize the 960M for smooth 4k video playback. If anyone else can sound off on this as well I'd appreciate it.. Thanks!

I should also ad that I'm trying to do this playback via display port to my new ASUS PB287Q 4K monitor.

I found Media Player Classic to be good for 4K. See my post:

I downloaded the KCP version of MPC which is supposed to have the highest performing video performance add on's already installed. Still couldn't get it to work properly. If you have any advice on how you configure MCP that would be great.

I don't have much knowledge and am still learning. Perhaps, have you tried using KLite instead of Kawaii?
