Hi everyone,

I am new at this forum, and joined because I couldn't figure this problem out by myself and my Google-fu wasn't good enough for this one.

The problem is, my mic in my headset, only works when the mic jack plug is plugged in the motherboards in-line input. But when I put the jack plug into the in-line on the ROG Thunderbolt, it stops functioning. The out-line works just fine, and music is playing with no problems from the headphones. The reason I figured this out, is because BF3 is having troubles with some onboard sound cards, and this causes the whole computer to lock up. When the mic jack plug is pulled out of the motherboard, it rolls just perfect, but then I can't talk to my friends using Skype.

I use the Creative Fatal1ty headset. There are no problems if I use my brothers G35 headset with USB input.

Asus Rampage III Black Edition
I7 930
12GB DDR3 RAM
Radeon 4870x2
