Advice for upgrading Windows OS

jareich

I am considering upgrading to Windows 8.1 Pro or Windows 10 (in July). From what I understood from a customer support tech, all ASUS software will be lost and all macro keys will be disabled. She did say that the upgrade process would offer an opportunity to install ASUS drivers. Has anyone had any experience upgrading? Did you find that loss of programs like Asus Gaming Center or ASUS Video Enhancement Tech was enough of a downside to not upgrade?

Any advice or warnings would be good to hear...

I have an ASUS ROG G751JT-GH72.

Yes you'll better off clean installing windows 8.1 that way you'll install AI suite as you did in windows 7 this will also give you a chance to change your install to 64 bit and UEFI in case your installed 32 bit and MBR! Then do the windows 10 upgrade the end of July
