I haven't read anything about someone successsdully removing a key from a G-series kb. What I would do would be to use long, thin brush to clean the area around the key with alcohol withbthe notebook off and unplugged . Be careful with the finish, though. I don't know how it handles alcohol.
This should also be covered by the 1 yr accident warranty, if you have that coverage.
BTW, don't drink and hard drive.
