BSOD help please!

Retired

I just bought an ASUS G74SX-BBK8 from best buy like a week ago and I allready have a BSOD I'm not really sure what the cause of it is and I would like to receive as much help as y'all can give me. I received the BSOD when I was doing a windows update and it was shutting down then I got the BSOD. I tried to add the .dmp files but they wouldn't add I zipped them.

Thanks, Sam.

Can you get back into windows? If so try to restore back to a point prior to the update?

Yes I am able to get into windows. I'm pretty sure I haven't done anything that System Restore would fix I haven't downloaded anything really.

You downloaded and installed a Windows update. I think the rational is that is the update caused a problem, so restore back to before that update.

But I just installed that update today and according to eventvwr I've had these problems for like the past week.

... but the BSOD, whatever is causing it, started with that update, right? I'd restore back then wait a day or so and see what happens, then try that update again.
Read the User's Manual for more info. 😄

Those are the only 'critical errors' on there, there are also a few normal 'errors' and 'warnings'
