Crosshair V stoped working

My board worked fine for 2 weeks, but last night I left my computer on while watching a movie on TV when I went back to my computer it was off. I tried to turn it on and all the fans started up for about 1 second and then shut off again and now when I push the button nothing happens. I already sent it in for a replacement.

Have you tried re-seating the cpu and making sure the cpu fan was connected properly.....?

yes. after I put my old motherboard back in (m4n82) and tested everything, I tested the crosshair V again and after I packed it all up I decided I will give it one more shot and unpacked the motherboard and tested it once more but with a Phenom II 965 instead of my Phenom II 1075 and still the same problem. I'm still waiting for my replacement board hopefully it gets here soon.

After reading some more reviews on newegg Im thinking that this might be an unstable board. However it has the best ratings of all the 990fx boards. How long have you all had your Crosshair V boards? I would really like to be wrong because I really loved this board for the week that I had it although I never really looked at the overclocking features because I don't have a need for it yet as all my games work flawlessly with the hardware I have.

alright I isolated the problem. The 850 watt PSU works with my M4N82 Deluxe motherboard but I took an older 800 Watt BFG PSU and hooked it up to the Crosshair V and it worked!!! Then I hooked up the 850 Watt PSU and then a puff of smoke. So the first post was right. The PSU died the crosshair V must of been giving me a warning lol. sorry to anyone if you were offended by me blaming the mobo. I just hought that if a PSU was blown it would not work on any mobo but I guess I was wrong. Now I have a 1200 watt PSU coming.
