I am not an experienced OCer and I am having difficulty setting up past 4.4Ghz .. I have read the SandyBridge OC write up.

System:

Maximus IV Extreme-Z bios Version 0403
Intel i7-2600K
G.SKILL RipjawsZ F3-17000CL9Q-16GBZHD - 4x4GB - DDR3-2133
2 x EVGA GeForce GTX 570 DS HD
OCZ RevoDrive OCZSSDPX-1RVD0120 PCI-E x4 120GB PCI Express SSD - System
2 x Velociraptor 450GB SATA 6.0Gb/S RAID0 - Storage

1. I have manually set the memory to CAS Latency 9-11-9-28-2N - system reboots and reboots
2. I have set memory to DDR3-2133 setting - system reboots and reboots
3. I have auto tuned and after 44 it reboots and reboots.

I now believe that my CPU is the sux of the production run and cant go past 4.4 😞

Is that the reason why I cant configure the memory to the specs that G.SKILL is rated to? Am I missing something?

Any insight would be appreciated..
