    Monitor stuck at 60hz (PG278Q)

Already posted in the hardware thread, but it's mainly a monitor problem, so posting here as well.

So I recently purchased parts and built my own rig. The basic system specs are the Asus ROG Strix 4GB GTX 980 GPU, Intel i5 @ 3.50 Ghz, with 16 GB RAM. I also purchased the PG278Q monitor. I've had fun with the system for a week. No problems at all, until today. The monitor won't push more than a 60 hz rate, no matter if I hit the OC button on the monitor, which only seems to work when it feels like it. I can't get into any of my games, since they are set at 144hz (remember, I've played up until today with no problems), and this is really beginning to grate on my nerves. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to add that all cables are original. It was also working fine before I went to bed. I woke up 6 hours later to these problems.
