Windows 10 Driver ?

The odds of me buying another ASUS card are very, very slim. They can blame C-Media all they want but in the end it is ASUS that is responsible for delivering support to their customers. If they invested enough money into driver development themselves they could have a driver ready next week. They just don't want to and we are left waiting on C-Media.

Looking at the pressrelease about strix labelled cards it does look like their pulling a creative on us, "Look at our new shiny card with support for the latest windows version". This is one of the main reasons I ditched creative a few years back. Never thought I'd say this but it looks like I'm buying creative again...

Or the guy that used to work at Creative got a job at ASUS.

Or they just getting greedy.

I got an Asus: P248Q, Titan X, Rampage IV Extreme. I bought 4-5 Asus Mainboards(High Class). Now i read about new Strix Series. This is really not fair. Im very disapointed about Asus Art the Moment.

Did you notice it was a beta driver? A beta driver for a brand new product for a released OS. Wonder if it's a beta driver like the HT Omega ones, basically a renamed win 8.1 driver.

Hey guys, they have uploaded a beta driver today for windows 10 x86 and x64 with the specifications of what it will not work. Fortunately they've come back to old interface before sonic studio. So I've already install it as soon as I don't use any of the things that didn't work with this beta driver and no issues till now (just didn't work with xear surround headphone turned on but I don't use it so it won't bother me).
So who use the two things below it should stick with the older driver from 8.1 till asus came back with new drivers (they've said soon):
The use of features below is not recommended.
1.When sound effect is on, it can’t be played.
2.SPDIF out via DDL cannot be played.

Maybe I'm the only one but i have seriously no idea what Asus is trying to say here..

Well at least my GF will be very happy that Asus went back to the old UI before monstrosity called Sonic Studio.. if they only include all the functionality they killed with Sonic Studio.

Updated drivers will be posted soon... think we all know all to well by now what Asus definition of soon is..
