ASUS GTX 980 STRIX Nvidia Driver Crash
HI,
My GTX 980 Strix keeps crashing every so often and it says its recovered successfully but the black screen is so annoying! This doesn't even happen when I'm gaming it happens while I'm browsing the internet or using the computer for non-gaming related stuff! Also sometimes i get weird boxes appearing on my screen and distortion appearing. I'm not sure if its the GPU or the driver
Any ideas?
Thanks
Edit: Forgot to mention that my temps are all normal

maybe it's driver issue. use ddu to do the cleanup and try reinstall the drivers.
i find recent drivers have a lot of errors in event viewer. i am reverting to 347.25.

Have you updated to the new NVIDIA driver recently? And if so, was this happening before the update?
