GL551JW from Costco - IPS ot TN Panel

I got the ASUS ROG GL551JW from Costco - http://www.costco.com/ASUS-ROG-GL551JW-Laptop-%7c-Intel-Core-i7-%7c-1080p-%7c-2GB-Graphics-%7c-Backl...

The sticker under the laptop says GL551JW-DS74. It has 960M graphics card and 128GB SSD + 1TB Hard Drive. Does this have a IPS Panel or a TN panel?

The box has 15.6 FHD USLIM WV on it but doesnt mention IPS or TN. Is there a way to find out?

Pretty sure it is IPS, the easiest way to tell is visually.

Here is a guide to use for testing: http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/viewing_angle.php

If the Lagom text looks uniform it is a IPS panel. There are sample images of what to expect with a TN panel near the bottom of the page.

Try using HWiNFO. It should show you exactly what panel you have. You can do a Google search of the Model Name or part number after that if you need to know more.

Its an IPS, only way to tell is the wide view part of the sticker
Its defo IPS though
