Lag when switching G-Sync modes

I just purchased a new ROG Swift and am quite pleased with it so far. Only problem is when starting up a game from the desktop the monitor light switches from red to white and back to red. This causes some lag with the system which is not really a big deal but something I'd rather not have. I assume this has something to do with G-Sync mode automatic switching. Is this normal and would there be a way to get rid of it? Thanks.

I have no idea why this wasn't pushed out with GeForce Experience, but this hotfix took care of it http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3694/kw/gsync/session/L3RpbWUvMTQzNTg2NTY3OS9zaWQ...

alternatively gsync full screen only I think fixes the issue as well.

Thanks for the link. That update did seem to help. One more minor issue I notice is that during certain games when first loading up a scene there is a small amount of judder that doesn't occur when G-Sync is disabled. An example would be the Unigine Heaven benchmark. Is this a normal occurance?
