Hello and thanks in advance for any help.
Has the tittle says, my Assus G53SX-A1 is having some CPU Overheating issues that started after the power jack got repaired (its center pin broke) with another thats exactly the same.
Before that, the CPU Fan (the left one) almost never went full blast while just using it for downloading or web browsing, but now, its on full speed almost 85% of the time, sometimes even if left idle for a while, coming to the point where the CPU throttles ALL the cores. My CPU Temps while web browsing (Opera, just Facebook and two other tabs a most) are : 77°C - 90°C
My CPU Temps while Playing Dota 2 (1080p, all on high and every option activated minus v-sync) : 95°C - 101°C
Here are some images i took with RTSS and HWiNFO64 options:
http://postimg.org/gallery/2ab149xxe/Before the problem, i could run Dota 2 on the same settings at 40-45 fps, but now it doesnt even reach 30, with dips into 10s after a teamfight. The same happens in League of Legends, Fallout 3 dropped about 10 fps, cant watch youtube 1080p 60 fps videos (they lag).
Note aside, im using the CoolerMaster Notepal U3 with 2 fans on the CPU side and 1 on the GPU (which never goes over 45°C while idle and 65°C while gaming).
The vents, fans and overall interiores have already been cleaned, i havent repasted because i dont have thermal paste and the present one is still spongy and not dry (more like thermal pads i think).
Im going to format it to see if that helps, but i hope someone can help me.
If more info is needed i will be happy to provide it.
