Hi, I am new to this forum and would like to consult you overclockers about a few motherboard models from ASUS since I am planning to purchase a new board and a new 4790K.

My main concern is stability and functionality (comprehensive settings/parameters available in UEFI) of overclocking. I am considering choosing Maximus VII Formula, Hero, or Z97-Deluxe. I would like to know which one is the best choice for me as a overclocker aimming 4.5-4.8GHz?

Also, may I know if Z97-Deluxe supports secure erase in UEFI? I know that ROG series supports that but I wonder if Z97-Deluxe does.

Additionally, may I know if Maximus VII Formula and Hero supports Crucial MX200, M550 and A-data SP900 to be secure erased through UEFI? I have read the compatible SSDs lists but I wonder if it is kept updated...
