I asked in the main thread and Raja@ASUS said give it a month or two but I am still looking/hoping for a more solid date. A week can feel like a month when your waiting to build especially when all this ROG goodness is being released. The only consultation is that in 1 to 2 months ssds will be cheaper and so will ddr4 🙂

Just looked at the main thread again, some one else asked about the Maximus VIII Formula, and Raja@ASUS told them oct/nov timeframe so I would think (just guessing though) that the Formula and Impact will launch together so that puts it at 2-3 months not 1-2. Also last year the Impact was released 4 months after the rest of the boards (May for everything else and August for the impact)

Thanks i sure hope they launch in that 3 month time frame since i am in nyc around november so i hope i can Pick it up at micro center!

Good news, I found two web sites that reference the ASUS Maximus VIII Impact with the SKU: 90MB0NS0-M0EAY0 , the price is about £182 (247€)
Bad news, there's no picture, no description and no specifications.
