hero vii, What two slots do i..........................

What two slots do i have to use for dual channel memory, manual says A2 and B2 red slots, is this correct, as im sure i read somewhere that this is incorrect, can someone confirm for me, cheers

Yes the manual is correct put them in the 2 Red slots. I have 2 x 4 Gb G.Skill Ripjaws in the Red slots and Dual Channel enabled.

I'm using the red slots on my Hero VII and no problems getting ram to 2800. Some folks have had issues with the red slots and switched to the black ones and ran what they expected. Would say try the reds and if they work how you like them leave em, if not switch em out.

Ok thx guys, strange that they changed from the hero vi thou, as on that board it was indeed A1 and B1 slots, i thought the manual may have been wrong or in manufacturing they messed up the colours 🙂
