Hi All,

i have M4A89GTD Pro USB2 with AMD 1055T and 8 GB Corsair memory.

i am planning to purchase a SSD, i found OCZ RevoDrive OCZSSDPX-1RVD0050 PCI-Express x4,

i need to know that is my Mobo support boot over PCI-E or not,

if not then there is no sense of this drive for me.

Please let me know "M4A89GTD Support Boot over PCI-E"

Thanks

I will let Brian have the final word on this one ( since I am not working for Asus ) butI'm pretty sure all popular motherboard of next generation will have PCI-e boot suport. Altought I can't say if this particular model will have one. Asus have pretty good bios but like most of the other manufacturer they rarely add new fonction. most of the time bios upgrade are only bug fixing update. The devlopement team probably think that for now it's not worth to put time for some mobo to get boot via PCI-e since there isso few PCI-e SSD.

we will try and get around to test if this board works, but for the time being, our staff is busy trying to get approved for the rog boards first.

The M4A89GTD Pro can be made to work with the RevoDrive but the workaround is a bit involved. I have a thread at OCZ's forum as to what need to be done.
