Battery charging and clarification to have my battery survive the longest

Ok so i have been trying to search for this answer all over the forums i just want clarification. To have my battery survive the longest
Should i leave it plugged in 24/7 i know it performs better when plugged in so i want to know if there is any reason to keep it on battery.

If you don't have access to power, that is a good time to use your battery.

If you want freedom of movement w/o being tethered, that is a good time to use your battery.

If you are doing a battery runtime test, that is a good time to use your battery.

Really no reason to over think it, the battery is there to be used after all. Just keep it plugged in as much as you can when convenient.
