Utilities for Windows 10
I did a clean install of Windows 10 and I noticed there were no utilities available for downloading from Asus for this Maximus Vi. I did find the utilities available for downloading when I looked at Maximus VIII utilities. I saw a utility call RamCache and I was very interested in that because it looks like a replacement for Samsung Magician that does not work with Windows 10. I tried to install it and it came back with "hardware verification failed".
I hope Asus will make RamCache available for their earlier Maximus motherboard supporters.
On the brighter side, RamDisk installed and work so far as I can tell. AISuite III is also available there but as there is nothing there that I need, I will leave that up to other to test.

Asus does this on purpose so people will buy the most recent boards.
Anyway all windows 8.1 utilities work in windows 10 on my VI Hero. This time it works because windows 10 is nothing new, its just like un improvement of windiws 8.1, so its windwos 8 based.

You/we can already find the utilities for windows 10 in the Maximus VIII Hero page:
http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/MAX...Desk_Download/
Mem TweakIt, RAMDisk, ASUS ROG Connect Plus, Asus WebStorage, ROG CPU-Z, ASUS PC Diagnostics, ASUS Boot Setting. This are the same exact utilities for the VI Hero and Asus will deliberately not put them available on the VI Hero page.
The same applies to the other VI boards with other names, the VII/VIII version has the utilities for you.
Have fun downloading guysLast edited by DSD27; 08-21-2015 at 11:14 PM.

No, AI Suite you must download from you motherboard page beacuse it's a different version.
Use the maximus VIII for the utilities that I mentioned.
The ai suite windows 8.1 version works perfectly on windows 10, but of course Asus didn't bother putting the download link on the windows 10 tab to give the most laypeopple the idea that they have to upgrade to fully experience windows 10.

Okay, thank you for the answer. It's really disappointing that Asus doesn't support their products more than that. I'm a big customer since years and always found satisfied with their products, but I'm not going to change motherboard every year.
Since windows 10 came out, they just gave us basic drivers, it's really annoying. If you sell a product with 3 years warranty, it also means you have to update drivers and softwares for it.
I hope they will add all softwares and drivers for windows 10 later, otherwise I would definitely say goodbye to Asus .
