GL551JW-DS71 Help please

Not very good with this or anything but I recently got this ASUS ROG GL551JW-DS71 15.6-Inch FHD Gaming Laptop, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M Discrete Graphics off of amazon. Anyways when I try to play CS:GO it just locks at 30 fps. No more no less. I changed it to high performance mode and everything but its still running at a low fps. Can someone please help me? Also I installed the only driver it wanted me to on nvidia which was the game ready one. PLEASE HELP thanks

Try plugging it in
and just go to "GeForce experience" and change BatteryBoost settings at Preferences tab if you want to turn off this option

i can change directly in steam , shell command , max fps put 120 or something like that , google commands
