Strix 390x temps!?

Hi guys!
I was just wondering what are your temps on the 390x Strix.I know this card runs hot but i feel mine is a bit too much! It runs at around 89 C with fans at 55% in general and that is with the "gaming" profil ON( It seams like it throttle a bit too). The ambient temperature is around 24 C . I've tried everything that i could, like running with system fans at full speed, even tried to play around the the case pressure by adding and taking out fans to get it down a bit but without any great success 😞

I feel like I actually bought a heating system for this room! lol

What are your temps?

Mine runs around the same temps nothing to worry about. Do you have your fans on auto or manual 55%? The card wont throttle till 100c.

I have a R9 390 and I also sit at those temperatures as well. I'm in a NZXT H440 case however so airflow isn't 100%

With custom fan profiles I can keep it at 70c with 100% fans if I don't mind the noise.

Hi,

temperatures should be fine, mounting a fan on the bottom of the case to push air on the card helped a bit.

I get 65 deg at 30% fan when idle.

Not sure then how the 30% cooler thing comes in to that, that would mean the temp was 80 odd on the stock version at idle!

so it's not possible to get the 0dB stated on the box either.

However it is pretty quiet at idle, however one thing I noticed whilst running furMark. I got the GPU temp up to 93 deg, however VRM temp was 122 deg C ! is that also normal?

I manually set the fans to 100% and it went down to 113, but still... and that was noioioioisy!
